Orphan Barrel’s Old Blowhard 26 Year Bourbon Whiskey
Orphan Bottle Whiskey Company’s purpose is “to share barrels of rare and delicious whiskey, hidden away and nearly forgotten in the back of rickhouses and distilleries.” Following their discovery, these uncommon whiskey casks are transported to the Orphan Barrel Company’s headquarters in Tullahoma, Tennessee, where they are carefully blended and tasted before being hand-bottled.
Louisville, Kentucky’s legendary Stitzel-Weller Distillery was the source of Old Blowhard 26 year old Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. A mashbill consisting of 86% corn, 8% barley, and 6% rye was also used to create the bourbon, which was then aged in brand-new American oak barrels.
The dark auburn color of Old Blowhard Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey is the product of 26 years of maturation. On the taste, notes of plums, cloves, ginger, and dark chocolate follow traces of tobacco, chewy leather, and dark fruits in the aroma. There are hints of sweet fruits in the dark, oaky aftertaste.
Don’t forget to get a bottle of this extremely uncommon Orphan Barrel’s Old Blowhard 26 Year bourbon today!
